
A Fine & Rare 80 Bore Westley Richards Patent Five Shot Self-cocking Percussion Revolver.

10 ¾” overall, 4” octagonal sighted barrel, top strap engraved ‘WESTLEY RICHARDS 170, NEW BOND ST., LONDON (PATENTEE)’, & engraved with a band of foliage at the muzzle, Birmingham proof marks, serial numbered five shot cylinder, case-hardened border & scroll engraved frame with gravity hammer safety-stop on the left side, border & scroll engraved trigger guard, Westley Richards patent rack & pinion rammer. Chequered figured walnut spurred butt, butt cap with scroll engraved hinged trap cover.
Very rare revolver in good condition, bore very good, action works as it should.
