12" overall, 6" round barrel with Tower proofs & inspector’s marks. Stepped flat border engraved lockplate with Crown VR & Tower 1840 with Ordinance stamp. Border engraved hammer. Walnut full stock with inspector’s marks. Regulation mounts, butt plate with lanyard swivel, belt hook with notched stock for a seaman’s rope belt & swivel ramrod.
Dated 1840
In sleepy condition, belt hook lacks one screw.
