A Fine Volunteer Flintlock 1805 Baker Rifle. 45½” overall, 30” carbine bore barrel with 7 groove rifling, bayonet bar, Tower private proofs, fixed rear sight. Lock signed ‘E. Baker’, ring neck cock, semi-waterproof pan, hole for releasing the main spring . Walnut full stock with patch box, slot & rifle cheek piece. Brass mounts consisting of butt plate, patch box cover, scroll trigger guard & ramrod pipes. Two sling swivels, flat ended ramrod with swell.
