A Cased Transitional Percussion 54 Bore Revolver by D Egg.

12 ½”  overall, 5 ½” octagonal barrel with bead foresight and rear sight. Multi groove rifling. 6 shot cylinder with Birmingham proofs. Scroll engraved nickel plated frame, signed ‘D Egg’. Bar hammer, two piece finely chequered walnut grip, in a mahogany refitted revolver case with some accessories including a three way flask, turnscrew, oil bottle and cap tin, with a later D Egg label.

Circa 1850.  

Revolver in good condition with most original finish, nickel slightly rubbed, case partitions are loose.
