A Fine North European Steel Hilted Rapier / Small Sword. 34” overall with 27” triangular hollow ground blade. Double shell guard with floral gadrooned edge & pierced with tight floral scrolls. Quillon block pierced en suite, floral gadrooned knuckle bow & quillon terminal. Pierced bulbous pommel en suite, grip of double twisted steel wire with Turk’s head terminals. In its original tooled leather scabbard with frog hook & steel chape. 

Circa 1700 

In good condition, old repair to scabbard, very rare to find a sword of this this age with its original scabbard.
