A Very Rare Adams Patent 1851 Percussion Revolving Rifle. 36 ¾” overall 20” octagonal 80 bore barrel, dove-tailed fore sight, standing notch rear sight with two additional folding leaves for 50,100,150 yards, the top-strap signed 'DEANE ADAMS & DEANE, NO. 30 KING WILLIAM ST. LONDON BRIDGE'. Borderline & scroll engraved solid frame engraved Adams Patent No13844R. Rare hesitating action, applied nipple shield to left hand side, external hammer, sliding safety five shot cylinder, chequered walnut butt-stock, iron heel plate & iron trigger guard bow with chequered flat front.

Adams revolving rifles are very rare they were made in bore sizes 18, 24, 32, 36, 38, 54 &80, with 18 & 80 being the most rarely found.
