A Very Good Cased Pair of Percussion Silver Wire Inlaid Pocket Pistols by Ross of Edinburgh. 5 ¾” overall, 1 ¼” octagonal 38 bore barrels, engraved with feathers at the muzzle & breach. Bronze scroll engraved actions, engraved ‘Edinburgh’ on the right & ‘Ross’ on the left, Birmingham Proofs & ‘38’ & ‘2/3’ on underside. Dolphin hammers, sliding safeties & folding triggers. Dark walnut butts profusely inlaid with silver wire scrolling tendrils & flowers, flat silver banded butts with oval escutcheons. In their baize lined rosewood case, with accessories including Sykes brass flask & barrel spanner & nipple key.
