15 ½” overall, 9 1/8” round, rifled carbine bore barrel with ordinance proofs, flat, border line engraved 1855 pattern lock with crowned tower under the nipple and plain tail. Rounded border engraved hammer. Walnut fullstock with regulation type mounts, comprising butt cap with lanyard ring, brass trigger guard, flat fore end cap and ramrod pipe. With swivel rammer and broken belt hook.

Possibly made for customs use, generally good condition but lock at fault
