12” overall, 6” musket bore sighted browned octagonal barrels, signed ‘E & W BOND 45 CORNHILL LONDON’ along the top flats, case colour hardened breeches decorated with foliage, fitted below with captive ramrods, stamped with London proofs, profusely engraved box lock actions, fitted with rear sights & sliding safety catches & blued belt clips, cocks decorated en suite. Finely chequered walnut butts with engraved ovoid butt caps, with butt traps. In their original lined, fitted case with all accessories including powder flask, bullet mould, turn-screw etc, the box now has a trade label for ‘John Blanch’. The exterior of the lid with circular escutcheon.

Rare musket bore Officers belt pistol in very good condition, with most original colour to barrel and locks. Case with one broken hinge.
It was not uncommon for gunmakers to replace gun case labels with their own if repairing or selling other makers guns.
