46½” overall. 30” barrel with 7 groove rifling, London Gunmakers proofs, fixed rear sight, patent breech. Flat stepped bevelled border line engraved lockplate signed ‘Broomhead’, with ring neck cock, semi-waterproof pan, roller on steel spring. Walnut full stock with slot and rifle cheek piece. Silver escutcheon engraved with owner’s crest of a griffin holding a helmet. Brass mounts consisting of butt plate, patch box with original tools, trigger guard and ramrod pipes. Two sling swivels, bar for sword bayonet. Heavy flat ended ramrod. With Baker sword bayonet by Osbourn & Gunby with inspector’s mark.

In very good condition, very good bore, one side nail an old replacement.
