A Very Fine Officers Flintlock 1799 Pattern Light Dragoon Pistol by Tatham & Egg.  15'' overall, barrel 9'', baluster moulded at the breech, with Tower private view & proof marks, stamped ‘TP’ between them, & engraved ‘London’.  Single border line engraved, flat, ring neck cock, single border line engraved, flat bevelled lock engraved ‘Tatham & Egg’ in front of the cock, spearhead finial to the feather spring.  Figured walnut full stock, a carved apron around the barrel tang, and carved around the rear of the lockplate and sideplate, with regulation brass mounts and original brass tipped wooden ramrod.

In near mint condition, original finish to barrel, stock unmarked.
