An Officers 1796 Light Cavalry Sword. 37 ½” overall, 33” curved fullered blade with maker’s stamp of ‘Harry Gill Birmingham’ on the spine. Regulation stirrup shaped hilt with ribbed leather covered grip but no ears. In its original iron scabbard with two suspension rings
