A Very Rare Naval Slot Hilt Hanger for Royal Marines Sergeants.

35” overall, 29” curved fullered blade, double edged near point. Brass reeded slotted stirrup hilt with spiral turned ebony grip, round pommel with engraved fouled anchor. Original brass and leather scabbard with frog stud.

Circa 1796-1816.

In good condition.
