 9 ¾” overall, 4 ½” 20 bore round barrel with U shaped sighting groove engraved ‘Dublin'. Two platinum lines at engraved breech. Flat engraved lockplate signed ‘W & J Rigby’, flat curved dolphin headed hammer. Lock with safe carry, half cock & full cock. Numbered on  all parts 9934, with unusual lock retaining screw from right hand side. Walnut full stock with chequered butt, steel butt cap, magazine lid lifting to reveal holes with  three bullets, engraved trigger guard with pineapple finial and swivel ramrod.

Numbered 9934 Circa 1848.

Best quality pistol in very good condition. Retaining nearly all original finish.
