
An Light Cavalry Sword. 41" long, 35" pipeback slightly curved blade etched on both sides with crowned W IV and laurels in a tablet shaped panel and owners initials ‘J.B.B’. Three bar hilt, stepped pommel, fish skin grip with triple twisted copper wire. In its original steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
Circa 1830.
