16” overall, 10” round barrel .577 bore with 5 groove rifling, blade fore-sight, folding rear leaf sights. Proof marks to right hand side, flat border engraved lock, Crown VR to tail. 1863 and Tower below the nipple, border engraved hammer. Walnut full stock with inspector’s marks. Tower of London roundel 1863 on butt. Regulation brass furniture comprising brass trigger guard, brass butt plate; the butt plate tang incised ‘1’ over ‘23’ over ‘VL’, brass fore-end and ramrod pipe. Lanyard ring and swivel ramrod. Dated 1863

Pistol in good condition with very good bore.
