
A Kerr Patent 54 Bore Single Action Revolver. 12" overall, 5 5/8" octagonal barrel with 'Jas. Kerr & Co. Successors, 36 King William Street E.C.' along the slender top flat, London proofs and 'LAC'. One piece frame with five shot cylinder with London proofs & numbered 11229. The action engraved 'Kerrs Patent 11229' & 'London Armoury'. Kerrs patent rammer, back action lock, side hammer, lockplate stamped 'London Armoury .' One piece chequered walnut grip, butt plate with lanyard ring.
Circa 1865
In good condition, one of the last Kerr revolvers made.
The London Armoury Company moved to 36 King William Street, London in 1863.
