38” overall, 32” flat straight blade very well etched with Crown VR & crest of the Royal Irish Constabulary, with proof slug and maker’s address on the ricasso ‘Ireland &Son Ellis's Quay, Dublin’. The steel hilt of Gothic 1827 Rifles pattern, with the crowned harp cartouche, black shagreen grip with twisted cooper wire. In its black painted steel scabbard.

In good condition, blade very good, Original (?) black paint to hilt and scabbard in quite good order.
