An India Pattern Brown Bess. 55” overall, 39” barrel with King’s proofs to rear & stamped AN8893, border engraved lock plate, engraved Tower on the tail & Crown GR with inspector’s mark, swan neck cock, standard India pattern brass furniture comprising butt plate, trigger guard, side plate & 3 ramrod pipes, fore end cap, iron ramrod with socket bayonet by Deakin.

Lock plate engraving in worn condition, lacks sling swivels.
The marks denote Swedish Government ownership, this musket is one of a consignment to Count Bernadottes Army in 1809.
