38 ½” overall, 33” double edged blade engraved with foliate panels, regimental badge & proof marks to one side, with foliate panels 'HAC', & 'Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London' below Prince of Wales Feathers to the other. The gilt hilt with stirrup knucklebow, single shell guard with applied grenade, stepped pommel, fish skin grip with triple strand gilt wire. In its
original black leather scabbard with frog stud.
Circa 1890
Blade in very good condition with nearly all polish, some gilt remaining on hilt & mounts, fish skin good, leather scabbard still firm.
