An 1870 pattern HAC Officers Sword.

36 ½" overall, 30 ½" straight double edged lozenge blade with much floral engraving &HAC coat of arms & maker's name 'Kenning Little Britain London' to one side. The other side floral decorated HAC badge & the owner's name in a foliate scroll Richard White', also a proof mark to the forte. Gilt brass hilt with single shell guard with silver applied grenade & 'D' shaped knucklebow with fish skin grip & twisted wire & original bullion sword knot. In its original black leather & brass mounted scabbard.
Circa 1870.
In good Condition well engraved with original polish & minor staining on edges, Gilt brass hilt and fish skin grip both worn. Scabbard leather in good condition.
