38" long with 32" straight hollow ground
Colichemarde blade. Silver cast and chased hilt comprising double shell guard with oval frames of roses in a field of small flowers. Quillon block, 'D' shaped knucklebow, globular pommel decorated ensuite. Grip bound with plaited silver ribbon and twisted wire with Turk’s head knots.
Paris warranty marks (jurande) for 1767/68 Charge mark (declared to tax authority) and discharge mark (tax paid)] for 1762-1768.
Very pretty sword in good condition. Weight 15oz.
