11 ½” overall, 6” octagonal barrel fitted with blade fore sight, signed on breech in capital letters ‘H.W.Mortimer’, engraved with a band, wheat ear engraved over the breech, single platinum band & touch hole, engraved tang decorated with trophies of arms and incorporating the back sight, border engraved lock fitted with bolt safety catch, 'French' cock and roller signed ’H.W. Mortimer’. Figured walnut full stock, chequered butt, engraved iron mount comprising trigger guard with trophies of arms, pineapple finials & original ramrod.
