Pistol in very good condition with crisp silver mounts. (silver mounts are not hall marked, this was done by Wogdon on pistols for export to save paying assay fees, an example of this is the pair of Wogdons belonging to General Sir David Baird which he took to India).
Transitional duelling pistols by Wogdon are virtually unknown.
This pistol is know to have been in India and previously had an Indian silver fore-end embellishment added which has now been removed.
