An Flintlock Officers Pistol by Wilkins & Co. 14" overall, 8” carbine bore octagonal barrels with blade foresight, engraved ‘Newport  I. Wight’ on top flat, gold touch hole. Bevelled engraved stepped, lock plate, engraved 'Wilkins & Co'. Roller on frizzen, semi-waterproof pan, border engraved swan neck cock. Walnut full stocks with chequered butt, steel trigger guard engraved with a military trophy on the bow with pineapple finial, steel ramrod pipe & ramrod with powder measure tip.

Circa 1810

In rubbed patinated condition.
