
A Good Silver Mounted Double Barrel Flintlock Carriage Pistol by W. Paris. 13" overall, 7” sighted, 34 bore side by side barrels of octagonal form with concave sighting rib. London proofs. False breech, engraved tang with rear sight. Flat stepped lockplates engraved ‘W Paris’, with gold touch holes. Swan necked cocks, spoon shaped pans. Walnut full stock relief carved with a shell behind the tang, with silver long eared butt cap & oval silver escutcheon. Engraved silver trigger guard with acorn finial. Brass tipped ramrod with worm.
