A Very Rare Dublin Castle Royal Foresters 1760/78 Pattern Inniskillen Dragoon Flintlock Pistol.

17” overall, 10” round barrel in carbine bore with central Kings proof marks to barrel, engraved ‘INNISKg DRAGs’. Single line border engraved flat lockplate, engraved ‘Dublin Castle’ to tail, and crown GR. Border engraved swan neck cock, regulation brass mounts including sporting gun style side plate, long eared butt cap, trigger guard, ramrod pipe and escutcheon. Walnut full stock with inspectors stamps on butt and ramrod channel, carved round the barrel tang.

Circa 1780

A very rare pistol in good condition.
