14 ½” overall, 8” round .44 barrel with blade foresight, engraved with ‘ADDRESS COL. SAMl COLT NEW YORK U.S. AMERICA’. Stepped six shot cylinder with engraved naval battle scene. Brass trigger guard, iron backstrap cut for shoulder stock. All parts numbered 29647 with Government Sun Inspector’s stamps, walnut grips.

An early Civil War Revolver in good condition. Quite a lot of original finish. Cylinder scene faint. Walnut grips bruised.
