A Very Good Rare India Pattern 1797 Sergeant's Flintlock Carbine. 52” overall 37”carbine bore, barrel with ordnance proofs, rounded lockplate, border engraved, marked with crown ‘GR’ ‘Tower’ & Ordnance stamp. Swan neck cock. Polished walnut stock with ordnance mark at tail of trigger guard & faint store keeper's stamp on butt, stockist's mark 'WS'. Regulation India pattern brass furniture. Iron ramrod.
