16 ¼” overall. 10” octagonal 28 bore barrel engraved “Westley Richards 170 New Bond St London” and “From the Commessionner in Sind”. Breech with double platinum line, scroll engraved tang with standing rearsight. Scroll engraved side lock with safety, flat scroll engraved dolphin headed hammer. Walnut half stock with chequered butt and horn fore-end, trigger guard with pineapple finial numbered 259, with flat butt cap, no provision for a ramrod.
Circa 1844.
In good dark sleepy condition.
