
A Livery Pistol by John Manton 13 ½” overall. 7 ½” octagonal carbine bore barrel engraved ‘LONDON’ on the top flat. False breech with rear sight, acanthus engraved tang, flat stepped bolted border engraved lock, engraved ‘MANTON’. Swan neck cock, waterproof pan, roller on frizzen spring. Trigger with marshall trophies and pineapple finial, walnut full stock with its original ramrod. Chequered butt with silver escutcheon with the arms of the Earl of Plymouth over ‘5’.
