5 ¼” overall, 2 ¼” .41 calibre steel barrel with large sloping "COLT" on top of barrel with a dash at either end. Nickel plated frame engraved “ .41 CAL”. Two-piece grips Numbered 12220
Total number made 48000, between 1870 - 1912. 3rd Model (Thuer) Deringers were all chambered in .41 caliber, manufactured circa 1875-1912, serial number range 1-45000, but precise yearly production numbers are unknown.

Nickel plating and grips in very good condition, no finish remaining on barrel.
