14 ½” overall, 8” round barrel with blade foresight engraved with “ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW YORK U.S. AMERICA”. Stepped cylinder with Naval battle scene. Three screw frame, without shoulder stock cut outs, brass trigger guard, iron backstrap. All parts numbered 164479, one piece walnut grips.
Circa 1867.
In good toned condition, good cylinder scene, action crisp.
Post war civilian Army’s are better finished than the military contract revolvers.
