14 ½” overall, 7 ¾” octagonal barrel with three groove rifling. Five shot cylinder with London proof marks & serial number. Scroll engraved blued frame marked to the right hand side ‘Adams Patent No 1292’. The top strap with retailer’s name ‘Blanch & Son, 29 Gracechurch Street, London’. Finely chequered walnut grips with shell shaped engraved butt trap. In its fitted case with Deane Adams & Deane trade label. Original James Dixon pistol flask, loading/cleaning rod with bullet seating & cleaning jag, oil bottle, turn screw, nipple key, Eley Bros cap tin & original Adams marked 38 bore brass bullet mould. Uncommon to find this pistol cased.
