39” overall. 32 ½” straight fullered blue and gilt blade with crown GR, foliage and trophies of arms. Back edge of the blade ‘J J Runkel Solingen’ and bladesmith’s mark ‘D Neef’. Folding guard, D shaped knucklebow, faceted pommel, twisted silver wire grip. In its original steel scabbard with two suspension rings.

Sword in very good condition, 90%+ blue and gilt, nearly all original polish on blade, with bright gilt and very good twisted silver wire. Knucklebow slightly bent, darkly patinated scabbard.
