12” overall, 6” two stage octagonal to round barrels, London proofs. Ramrods to the underside, one with worm, border engraved box-lock actions signed '45 Cornhill LONDON' within a ribbon, and to the left 'NICHOLSON' . Ring necked cocks,sliding thumb piece safety catches that also lock the pans, figured walnut butts with brass long eared butt caps, silver shield shaped escutcheons and steel trigger guards.
