15 ¾” overall, 10 ¼” round sighted barrel with flat sighting rib, engraved ‘Wogdon London’, with false breech & tang incorporating rearsight. London proofs & maker’s mark ‘RW’. Flat stepped lockplate with chamfered edges, safety bolt & signed ‘Wogdon’, swan neck bevelled cock, spoon shaped pan. Walnut full stock with flat sided butt. Engraved iron furniture consisting of butt cap, trigger guard with acorn finial & two ramrod pipes. Rammer with worm. Set trigger.
