An 1894 Winchester Rifle. 44” overall, 26” octagonal 32.40 barrel with blade fore sight & adjustable crescent rear sight stamped ‘D. W. King Patt. Mar 5.07’ . Engraved two line address ‘Manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co New Haven. Con. USA Pat August 21st 1894’, & ‘Nickel Steel’ on left hand barrel flat. Blued steel action with underlever, stamped ‘Model 1894 Winchester trademark’ on the tang. Numbered under the action ‘366213’. Steel crescent butt plate, oiled walnut stock & fore end, steel fore end cap & tubular under barrel magazine.
An attractive gun in very good condition, retaining much original finish, very good bore, rear sling swivel missing.
