A 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Troopers Sword.

38” overall, 32” curved fullered blade, engraved ‘T Craven’ on the spine, stamped with a crowned ‘4’, steel regulation stirrup hilt with lancets, lobed rear quill, knuckle guard pierced for a sword knot, ribbed leather covered grip. In its original steel scabbard with two suspension rings. 

Circa 1800.

Blade good, hilt and scabbard with some old pitting and original black paint.
