A 1788 Light Cavalry Troopers Sword. 39” overall, 33” curved blade with one broad fuller, engraved ‘Devon Light Dragoons’ on both sides, back edge stamped ‘J J Runkel. Sohlingen’. D shaped chamfered knuckle bow, flat pommel, double bar langets, ribbed wooden grip. In its original iron scabbard, sword and scabbard with A2 rack number.
