46” overall, 39” flamboyant blade with full length narrow fuller, indistinctly signed ‘HOAICR AOARO’. Hilt comprising lob cup guard chiselled with a repeated design of flowering foliage and scallop shells, round quillons swelling with button tips, knuckleguard en suite and with central moulding, cushion shaped pommel with button, fluted bone grip.

A very fine sword with a wonderful blade in very good condition, button lacking from one quillion.
