A Fine Moroccan Nimcha. 36” overall, 29 ½” broad curved European blade with two narrow & one broad fuller, with false edge. Iron guard with down turned quillons, side ring, shaped one piece fluted horn grip inset with silver stars, silver ferrule & silver shaped pommel cap. In its leather covered wooden scabbard with silver mount.
Circa 1700-1750.
A very fine example with possibly Italian blade, scabbards rarely survive overall good condition.
