A Fine English Hunting Hanger. 26” overall, 21” slightly curved blade double edged over nearly half its length to the point, the forte on both sides deeply struck with a King's head mark. Brass hilt comprising ‘D’ shaped knucklebow cast with stags, hares, hounds & masks, recurved quillon with lobed terminal with mask & stag, strawberry leaf engraved collar and pommel cap with Green man masks. Natural buckhorn grip, in its original tooled black leather scabbard with brass chape & iron frog hook.
