A 1788 Dragoon Officers Backsword. 40" overall, 33 ½" slightly curved blade with twin fullers stamped on both sides 'W Harvey'. Blade sharpened on the back edge for the last 7". A wrought iron hilt with fluted and faceted bars, faceted oval pommel, twisted
wooden grip with ferrule & brass wire.

Hilt in very good condition, showing some original finish, blade may be a later replacement in good condition with a couple of edge nicks. Lacks scabbard
