A Rare 1796 Heavy Cavalry Troopers Sword to the 6th Regiment of Dragoon Guards Carabineers, 41” overall, 35 ¼” straight fullered blade, hatchet point. Signed on the back edge ‘Wooley & Deakin’ with balance marks on back edge. Inspectors mark on the right hand side. Steel disk hilt with langets, leather covered wooden grip. On the knuckle bow stamped ‘6DG K 7’. In steel scabbard marked ‘6DG G 33’.
