42” overall, 35” blade with single fuller etched with floral patterns & regimental badge of the 6th Dragoon Guards & the crest of Edward VIII & the owner's initials 'RHC' & 'Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London'. On the spine '37971’ Steel pierced honeysuckle guard, with 6th Dragoons badge, fish skin grip with steel wire chequered pommel & backstrap with leather sword knot. In its steel mounted leather field service scabbard.
37971 – Wilkinson entry dated 14th May 1900, Carabiniers pattern. Sold to a Captain R.H. Collis, Carabiniers.
