38” overall, 33” slightly curved flat blade etched with crown ERVII, crossed swords to one side, the other side with crown ER VII & ‘J.R.Gaunt & Sons late Edw. Thurkle 53 Conduit St London.W’. Gilt hilt with General’s badge, ivory scales to grip retained with gilt studs. In its original polished steel scabbard.
Circa 1906-10.
