41” overall, 35” slightly curved blade with spear point and single broad fuller. Forte signed ‘weyfrsbrg kirschbuaum cie Solingen’ and dated 1887, on the obverse are ‘WD’ inspector’s marks and ‘YC’. Steel bowl guard with Maltese cross. Chequered grip retained with five rivets. In its regulation ox eyed steel scabbard, marked ‘Mole patent’ on throat piece with military inspector’s marks.

Sword in good condition, scabbard has some dents.
