41 ½” overall, 35” straight blade with broad fuller & spear point, engraved with GRV cipher & scrolling foliage, owner’s initials ‘C.L.W.J’ & ‘Patent Solid Hilt Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London’ & the 17th Lancer Regimental insignia numbered 42785 on the spine. Pierced honeysuckle nickel plated hilt, chequered pommel, patent tang, chequered two piece grip with twisted silver wire. In its nickel plated steel scabbard with 2 suspension rings.
