A Fine Over and Under Turnover Percussion Pocket Pistol by W & J Rigby. 6 ¾” overall, 1 ½” 40 bore turn off barrels. The muzzles engraved & slotted for barrel keys, numbered ‘3’ & ‘4’. The boxlock action with deep scroll engraving, signed ‘W & J Rigby’ and ‘Dublin’, dolphin cock, folding trigger. Figured walnut finely chequered flattened butt with silver escutcheon. Numbered 9954 for 1848 on trigger tang.

Very attractive pistol with much finish remaining.
